 When it comes to my experience with any Microsoft applications before college, I didn't use them at all. My schools mainly relied on Google applications, for example, Google Classroom, Google Drive, Google Docs, etc. However, I started using Microsoft exclusively when I entered Florida State University. I use Microsoft OneNote to type my notes out. Since I didn't grow up with Mircosoft Word like my peers, I'm out of the loop and don't know how to use Microsoft to its fullest potential. As my college career continues, I expect to become more comfortable with Microsoft apps and continue to use them.  The ISTE Standards for Educators I felt were the most meaningful to me was "3.2 Citizen." I feel to be a good teacher, you should want to educate your students on online safety and using technology appropriately.      Hello and welcome to my Blogger! My name is Emily, and I'm a freshman at Florida State University. I've dreamt about becoming a Florida State Seminole for as long as I can remember, so I'm pretty happy to be here. Florida State has been everything I hoped for thus far and has exceeded my expectations. I am majoring in Exceptional Student Education and hope to return to my hometown and teach at the school I once attended. Being in Tallahassee is a dream come true, and I wouldn't change this for the world.       The technology I've used in educational settings ranges from computers to iPads. In my fifth grade class, we were gifted iPads instead of the usual Chromebooks because my teacher wanted to show how different technology can affect students.
