When it comes to my experience with any Microsoft applications before college, I didn't use them at all. My schools mainly relied on Google applications, for example, Google Classroom, Google Drive, Google Docs, etc. However, I started using Microsoft exclusively when I entered Florida State University. I use Microsoft OneNote to type my notes out. Since I didn't grow up with Mircosoft Word like my peers, I'm out of the loop and don't know how to use Microsoft to its fullest potential. As my college career continues, I expect to become more comfortable with Microsoft apps and continue to use them. The ISTE Standards for Educators I felt were the most meaningful to me was "3.2 Citizen." I feel to be a good teacher, you should want to educate your students on online safety and using technology appropriately.
