I chose the 3rd to 5th-grade computer science course for Microsoft word. I feel as thought I'd be able to implement this into a third grade class. With enough explanation and guidance, anything can be possible. However, based on my current skill set, I wonder if I would be able to give a thourough enough explanation and be able to answer students' questions. I need to spend more time using Microsoft word to better understand.
The CPALMS website is a fantastic tool for educators. It would be a great way to get reliable sources and lesson plans all in one place. I would definitely use this website in my own classroom and even recommend it to other teachers. The range of grade levels and different teaching subjects is really beneficial, I appreciate that it doesn't just focus on one subject or grade level. I love how many options there are as well.
Most of the searching tools we learned about this week I didn't know. I have used them since then and it helps a lot and cuts down on time! I will definitely show these things to my friends and family and also introduce it in my classroom.
